The Best Business Class Seats on American’s New 767-300

Just the other day, I was fortunate enough to have my two systemwide upgrades to and from Milan from New York’s JFK clear. I’ve been upgraded from Main Cabin to Business Class aboard American’s 767-300 airplane, which is brand new. I’ve discovered what could be the best business class seats aboard this plane.

The Business Class product is similar to Delta’s Business Elite (now, Delta ONE), whereby the single seats on both sides of the cabin are in a staggered formation. A large armrest console lies next to the seat, and with some seats it sits on the aisle side, while on others it sits next to the window.

For many, the most coveted seats are the single seats where the armrest is on the aisle side, since this makes the seat feel more private, and prevents folks from bumping or disturbing you on the aisle. I prefer this seat too and wanted to select this option on my upcoming Milan legs.

I reached out to American, and they told me that they don’t have the information to give me regarding the armrest locations. SeatGuru unfortunately didn’t display the option either, and neither does AA.com.

 

I was able to receive clarification from some folks as to where these armrests are located, and wanted to pass along the information to help you choose these seats as well.

The seats are number 2-8, which the “A” seats being on the right and the “J” seats being on the right. Here are the seats with the armrest large console located along the aisle:
