Let’s take a look at a few interesting travel news stories today:
- JetBlue is opening up a hotel in Orlando. Rooms may be hard to come by, though…
- British Airways is possibly coming up with a new Club World (Business Class) seat. “A complex set of cabin innovations presented in the patent application include a revolutionary seat fastening system for the cabin floor which allows for more flexible cabin configurations. This is far more exciting for those of us who geek-out on cabin certification than it is for passengers, but it hints at British Airway’s willingness to think beyond a cabin strictly divided by class. With these unique flooring fasteners, a variety of seat structures could be placed together in the same cabin space.”
- You can now use United miles to cruise. Not a good value, but still an option for those that are interested.
- United is adding a “p.s.” service from Los Angeles to Boston. The flight will operate once a day, using flat-bed seats for premium customers.
