Hyatt Place has a 24/7 Gallery menu, where you can order sandwiches, soups, salads and other finger food at any time of day. The food is actually quite tasty, and I’ve had a consistent experience when order.
My favorite sandwich is the Monte Cristo which sells for $9.75. For those not familiar, it’s ham, turkey and swiss on French Toast with warm maple syrup on the side…mmm…
To order, simply call the front desk and they’ll have everything ready in 15-20 minutes.
I was feeling overly hungry this evening, so I ordered both the sandwich and chips and dip.
The meal was plated on a large tray which I had to pick up from the front desk, and take to my room. I was not offered any assistance taking it up, though I managed fine.
I don’t know if the sandwiches are pre-packaged and warmed though mine tested fresh as if was just made.
The syrup was packaged in a small to-go container and was indeed warm, which made for a tasty meal.
The chips were served with both a warm queso, as well as mild-salsa. The quest was piping hot, which was unanticipated. In a smaller Hyatt Place such as this, I wouldn’t have assumed the staff would take the time to have it warmed, so this was a please surprise.
My Take
I was very pleased with the service, how fast everything was made, presentation (as non important as that is at a Hyatt Place) and the taste. For road warrior, everything is reasonably priced and is better than most fast-food chains, in my opinion.
