How to Get Free Regus Business Lounge Access

Regus, a shared workspace and lounge company, offers business lounges in a variety of cities (both major and non) across the country, and across the world.

Think of them like airport lounges without the food, extensive drink selection and ticketing assistance. The lounges are usually offered in office-space like buildings and feature complimentary wifi, limited refreshments (coffee, tea, water), televisions turned to major news stations and copying and printing services for a fee. Regus likes to market their spaces as alternatives to hotels and coffee shops, and while to some degree they are, I would’t consider it worth it to buy a full membership outright, which runs $59 a month.

Several years ago when I purchased a Delta SkyClub membership from Delta, a BusinessWorld (that’s what Regus calls it) membership was included, and I used the space nearest my house (about a 10 minute drive away) once in a while, but forgot about it after the first few months. It’s good for folks who need a quiet place to work that isn’t there house.

It’s possible to get access to these lounges for a year, though, without paying the $59 fee, and you’ll often see Regus deals via various credit cards, other lounge memberships and subscriptions. Essentially, they’re trying to get you in the door so you end up paying for premium services, such as conference rooms, privates offices and equipment.

To start, you’ll need a Virgin Atlantic Flying Club membership number, which you can create for free here if you don’t already have one. The, go to the Regus sign-up page here. You’ll be asked to input that Virgin Atlantic Flying Club number as well as the first 9 digits of your Virgin Atlantic credit card. Don’t have one? Simple. Enter the number 377311 (6 digits) followed by 3 more random digits of your choosing. In doing this, you’ll likely enter the first 9 digits of a real Virgin Atlantic credit card number, thus triggering the instant free sign-up into the Business Lounge offer.

It’s worth noting that according to the website, “Regus Businessworld Gold membership does not provide access to Virgin Atlantic Clubhouses and lounges.” Not that I would have assumed it would have (though it would have been amazing if it was true), but take note anyways.
