You can certainly file this one in the non-important section of American Airlines meal improvements, but American has now begun using small salt and pepper shakers in their international business class product, vs. the old salt and pepper packet.

A small improvement, but nothing terribly important.
I wish AA would improve the actual food instead of adding new accoutrements…

non-important? maybe. But I see it as a sign someone at American has been allowed to consider passenger experience, even if it costs a few cents more. Plenty more small improvements to be made, sure, but that’s important news after years of cuts and apparent indifference to their effect.
