Some of you may have caught onto the hype this morning about the generous Wyndham promotion whereby you donate all of your Starpoints to charity, and Wyndham will quadruple your points, in addition to matching whatever SPG status you have.
The Wyndham site has suddenly pulled the promotion, apparently due to possible fraud! HT: The Points Guy
So I guess the real question here is what happens to all the SPG folks who donated points already? Assume they’re out of luck (well, not really since they’re going to charity, but still…)?

Yes I already donated, they said they would honor it but really don’t believe them. I guess I acted too fast!
Wow! Where did they say they would honor it? Did they say this after they pulled the promo citing fraud?
