The Airport Lounge You Didn’t Know You Had Access To

I was in Colorado Springs Airport a few months ago, and was stunned to see an airport lounge on the way to my departure gate. I had absolutely no idea that small, little Colorado Springs airport had an airport lounge. I was walking to my gate when I noticed a Priority Pass sign on the wall, which got my attention and I walked over.

The Mortgage Solutions Financial Premier Lounge, is located in the main concourse, just prior to the American Airlines gates. Interestingly enough, it accepts pretty much every airline elite and his brother…

Here’s who has access to the lounge:

  • Colorado Springs Airport Premier Members
  • Alaska Airlines MVP Gold
  • Allegient Priority Boarding
  • American Airlines AAdvantage Executive Platinum
  • Delta SkyMiles Medallion Platinum and Diamond Medallion
  • Early Returns Frontier Elite
  • Untied Global Services and United MileagePlus Premier 1K
  • oneworld Emerald
  • Star Alliance Gold
  • Priority Pass
  • Lounge Club
  • LoungeKey

Trust me when I say this lounge is nothing over the top, but it’s certainly better than waiting in the general boarding area.

Walking in, you sign in with the attendant at the desk who verifies your credentials.

Inside the lounge, there’s a few seating areas, which made me feel like I was in an office building.

There’s even a conference room!

Around back, there’s a soda fountain as well as a snack basket with – when I was there – pretzels and muffins.

I plopped myself down in one of the nearby seats and plugged my laptop into the outlet to get some work done. There’s free wifi inside, and while I was there, only one other person using the lounge. I seriously think that hardly anyone else knows about this…

When checking in for my flight, I did actually check in at the American Airlines ticket counter and they made no mention of this lounge. Granted, it’s not their lounge, but I am an Executive Platinum, so I would have figured they may have said something.

I seriously had no idea this lounge existed, so next time you’re in Colorado Springs, now you know. 🙂

It looks like the lounge just googled various airline elite levels and put them on a sign. Allegiant priority boarding gets access? Lmao

The lounge is listed on PP’s website.
