What is Dosh? An Easy Way to Make Money by Traveling

May 14, 2017 by James Larounis 3 Comments

Get award booking help and personalized travel assistance for as little as $1 a month!

Never heard of Dosh? No problem! Dosh is a new revolutionary app that searches out deals on goods and services that the customer has already purchased, and puts the money back in the pocket of the user. It is super simple to use. First, just download the free app and connect a card to it. Also, you get some cash added to your Dosh wallet just for adding three cards to your account on the app. Don’t worry about theft, the app is completely secure! Though you do add your card information to the app, we never store any of you information and we are completely PCI compliant.

The best part of Dosh is how easy it is to earn some extra cash without doing anything. All you do is spend on your cards as you normally would and Dosh immediately goes to work. If the business that you spent money at is connected to Dosh, then we will immediately put money back in your Dosh wallet for you to use later. It is especially convenient for a frequent traveler. You can book hotels through our app and get cash back doing it. Dosh automatically sorts hotel deals by the most cash back. Though be careful, they can’t give refunds for hotels booked through Dosh if you choose to cancel your reservation. They also can get customers great deals on car rentals.

Dosh has a mission to put money back in the pockets of people so that millions can get more out of every dollar that they spend. No need to worry about scanning receipts or cutting coupons, Dosh does it all automatically through the app. So shop, travel, spoil yourself and know that Dosh is hard at work saving you money so that fun doesn’t hurt your wallet so much.

You can download the Dosh app here.

For reference, Dosh reached out to me to ask if I would write a post on their service, which I agreed to, based on the merits I found personally in the app.

SELECT transforms any existing credit or debit card into a black card that unlocks VIP perks, pricing, and experiences at thousands of premier destinations around the world.

    @Jamie –

    Wondering if a ‘better deal’ (somehow changed or booked initially through Dosh) would invalidate a guest’s elite benefits if, for example a brand requires that reservations be made through the chain’s direct booking systems to guarantee those benefits. I see where Dosh states: “Book hotels through Dosh at amazing prices plus get incredible cash back” so that has me concerned.

    Any information on this?

    I went to load it, but the reviews scared me off–not very user-friendly from what I read. I’ll pass, for now.

      I use it all the time and I love it. It’s a brand new app In BETA version. There’s going to be some bugs. I’ve already deposited my first $15.00 into my account. It works.
