Presentation was really well done, with everything being well organized and little details thought out. I appreciated the pepper flakes on the caprese salad, for example.
would have hoped for a slightly stronger teriyaki taste, but can understand how things need to be kept neutral for various palates.
Freshness, Quality, and Temperature
I did find the chicken a bit on the tougher side, but certainly still in the realm of being fine for a salad. Everything was very fresh, including the appetizer.
Variety of Choices
On this flight, only two choices were offered - the pasta dish and salad. The lasagna was vegetarian, and this salad could have also been offered vegetarian since the chicken was on the side. Between the two, I would have hoped one would be a true meat dish (perhaps a bolognese sauce in the lasagna?), however both options did look good.
Service on this flight was great. Drinks were replenished often, and flight attendants from both cabins were in the aisle to collect trays and dishes as needed. While the lead flight attendant was a bit snippy, she did get the job done, and offered a good service to the First Class cabin.
