25 Hyatt Hotel Stays Bonus

Hyatt Hotel Surprise

I received a surprise email in my inbox the other day entitled “Do you remember you first Hyatt hotel?” Not knowing what it was, I clicked on it only to find out that I had recently completed my 25th stay in a unique Hyatt property. I hadn’t realized I was crossing this threshold, and to be honest, didn’t realize I was even close to having stayed in 25 different Hyatt hotels.

Inside, I found a nice letter informing me of my milestone and congratulating me.

Then, there was a link that I could open that would show me all of my Hyatt properties that I’ve stayed at to date. Here was my list:

Interestingly, the list did not include the Hyatt managed The Concourse Hotel at LAX, so I’m not entirely sure if this list is complete or not, though they note that closed or changed hotels may not be featured.

After gawking at all of the hotels I had stayed at since 2011, I opened up my reward and was offered 5,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points, which is fantastic – enough for a free night at a Category 1 property.

I was also offered the opportunity to play a game where I had to place 5 of these hotels in the order I had stayed in them, starting from first to most recent. Easy enough, and I “won” on the first try. Winning be threw in an extra 500 bonus points to my reward.

Here’s to the next 25 unique hotels – and the chance for a free night at any of their hotels worldwide, which is the reward for staying at 50 unique properties!
